"How do you expect to make a living if all you do is play video games?!"
Rylan was always the shy guy. He didn't really like to socialize, didn't make many friends, in fact he actually preferred solitude, wasting hours either by playing video games or browsing the web, both of which his parents weren't particularly fond of. It wasn't so much that they wanted a troubled child who got drunk and partied nightly, but they did at least want him to live a little. And good parents as they were, they were determined to make sure that happened. Setting him up with their friends kids, encouraging him to join school clubs and similar things. Unfortunately nothing seemed to stick and they were beginning to worry that something might be wrong with him. All the while, Rylan was simply content with his less-than-social lifestyle. However, knowing his parents wanted more from him, he did try to make them happy, to the point that he even joined college.
It would seem like a good idea at the time, and it certainly made his parents proud, but after a month of classes, Ry came to the realization that this just wasn't what he wanted to do. So, much to his parents chagrin, he dropped out, deciding he'd rather do something he'd enjoyed. Making videos. With that settled, the college dropout moved into a small apartment complex and focused on his online career. Since then, he has gained many followers, becoming popular as an internet personality, in contrast to his much more lonely real life. Honestly though, he's okay with it.

As Tyronic, Rylan is popular for his personality, making videos of gameplay among other things (such as advice and other random requests). His viewers support him and others during his occasional charity events and have said they feel a personal connection with him, despite knowing next to nothing about him. Unfortunately, there are some who are determined to find out his true identity, which is something he fears actually happening. Because of that, he tries to keep completely anonymous online and no one really knows just what he does to make a living, save his neighbors who no doubt have heard him during his recordings. Despite the popularity boost, he insists that he only makes videos because it's fun which unfortunately has gotten him plenty of flak because he get's paid for it. Still, he has plenty of supporters and plans to keep doing his thing till it get's boring.
