Dante does have a system. It may seem like he doesn't - it may very well seem like he's just messy, but he will assure you there is a system and it's always worked for him.
And generally, it does. He finds what he needs just fine, even if it does require a bit of an extended search. But usually not half an hour of tearing the entire place apart, emptying a toolbox on his bedroom floor and leaving all the cupboards open because he's already thinking of where next before he remembers to close them.
At this point Dante is in the precarious territory of other people's things. He feels like he's doing something wrong, snooping, even if that's definitely not his intent. At least he has the sense to put things back as they were, to back into his side of the room (and send a set of loose sockets skittering across the floor) when he hears the door open.
"You seen a socket wrench around?" He asks loud and exasperated, knowing what answer to expect.

PLEASE, LET ME KILL HIM. Of Ray's pet peeves, perhaps the one that irked him the most was when people went through his stuff without his permission. It pissed him off even more when his tidy space was left unkempt. Thankfully, that was why roommates set rules for each other to ensure no arguments would break out. And Ray knew for a fact that when he'd get back to his cozy abode, he'd find it just as he had left it - untouched and sacred. "Hey Maggie," Ray first called out to his female companion as he entered the apartment. He would have said more but he was just returning from a game of b-ball and wanted to take a shower immediately. So he headed to his room first to drop off his bag and kick off his shoes, but when he turned the knob and looked inside, he saw a giant virus snooping around his side of the room. Ray's bag plopped to the floor. His legs carried him toward Dante and his hands reached out to grab the man by the collar. "What the hell did I say about touching my stuff? Do you see the duct tape on the floor? Maybe you've forgotten, but that there's to keep you on your side and away from my side, hairy." He jabbed one of the sockets on the floor with his foot. "Clean this up before I clean you up." OOC TAGGED DANTE FIERRO MARGARET DIETZWORD COUNT ### NOTES --- MADE BY ★MEULK OF GS

"Good afternoon, Ray." Margaret had been spending the day thus far just as she spent many others: sitting on the couch with Burger Junior's head in her lap, serenely and halfheartedly watching whatever it was that was on the television at the moment. It was some sort of cooking competition in which chefs were encouraged to sabotage one another. It was somewhat barbaric, but entertaining, nonetheless. The bickering of her roommates caught the attention of Burger Junior before her own. He hopped off of the couch and stood in the threshold of their bedroom, glowering vaguely at them. Sighing, Maggie pushed herself up and followed after him. "Boys, please." It wasn't the first time that she'd stepped in to settle some sort of argument between the two of them, and it was often the case that her intervention wasn't all that effective, anyway. "Try and tone down the tension a bit. You've agitated Burger Junior." He was a very sensitive boy. RAY SHEN DANTE FIERRO

The duct tape line split the room between the mess of his side and the immaculate clean of Ray's, and Dante hadn't gotten the chance to step back to his own territory before Ray was in the doorway, rushing forward and grabbing a fistful of his shirt.
"Hey, fuck, hold on." He lifted his arms in surrender. He wasn't interested in any conflict, just like he wasn't interested in whatever Ray had on his side. "I'm just looking for something, calm down. What, you have something you don't want me to see? I'm gonna put it all back." Dante liked to think he was easy to get along with; but of all the people in the world he could have possibly shared a room with, it had to be the one with the biggest stick shoved up his ass.
He sighed, trying to wriggle out of Ray's grip when Maggie and her damn dog came to watch from the doorway. "Yeah, tell mister tall dark and pissy that."
