The Birth - Born in lovely America to Arisha and Nichols Kaminski, Ginerva came into the world a squealing, fist waving little girl. Her parents loved her dearly. She was their first born, difficult to conceive and more difficult to carry. They planned on her being their only child. However, things don't often go as planned.
The Childhood - Ginny was a happy child. Books were her get away, she loved anything about the sea, and when at the beach she swam like a fish. Her love for water started early. Sand castles were her home. She wasn't a fan of dresses and dolls, to the chagrin of her mother, who liked to dress her up and do her 'pretty' blonde hair in ponytails.
The Dream - Her love of the sea went farther than just a childhood phase. That love moved past that and followed her into middle school. Once talking with some teachers about it, they began to usher her towards the career. Her parents weren't sure what they thought of that. Wasn't there... not much money in marine biology?
The Troubles - Yet among this was herself changing. Middle school was tough when you looked in the mirror and didn't feel like a girl. High school hit, and a passing conversation caught her ear. Too much research later, and Ginny now knew many other gender terms. They shed the female pronouns, preferring they/them/their, and began to experiment.
The Mother - Their mother, however, wasn't so pleased. What was this about binders and cutting your hair? No, no, no! Ginny would cry themselves to sleep multiple times. In time they would become okay with their body, but for now they couldn't even seem to explore non-binary.
The Sister - The arguments were put aside. Their mother was pregnant again. Ginny, sick with worry, insisted on helping her mother with different practices to make carrying the new child easier, especially with their mothers current age. Their sister was born soon after, named Bima, red faced and adorable, with swinging fists and squealing laughs.
The Father - By this time they knew what they were. They had been accepted into the university of their dreams, was going to be a marine biologist working with large mammals, and knew now that they were non-binary. They came out. Their mother looked shock. Didn't understand. Their father yelled. Told them to stop with this gender nonsense, that there was only two genders. The last few weeks at home was tense and emotional.
The School - University was like a wish come true. Ginerva found themselves having the time of their life. Their roommate, a laughing smiling girl, accepted everything about them with open arms, and encouraged them to explore who they were. They may have kissed once or twice, but it never grew into anything. Their classes were their life, and their professors brilliant. One in particular, a rugged kind man, took their educated heart.
The Diploma - Graduation happened. They stood in line. They avoided their parents. Ginny would accept their diploma with a smile on their face and fire in their eyes. They were going to go far. All the studying, all the partying, all the trials. It had now been made worth it. They were going to work with big mammals and it was going to be beautiful.
The Unemployment - Except... it didn't happen that way. Marine biology jobs were lacking, especially in what they wanted to do. So many people were going into it as well. Ginny could only watch in horror as they were turned down again and again. Their housing was too expensive. Their friends were moving on.
The Offer - Another job came their way, directed to them by their university roommate. The waiting job didn't seem optimal. They wanted to work in water. But... they needed money. Ginny took if, upset. They weren't making much money except for tips, however, and they found themselves looking for a smaller place, needing to move out and into a new apartment. It was here that they met the others though... who in time they'd fall in love with.

If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go?
"Alaska. Quiet, cold, and brisk. I feel like, maybe, I'd be able to find another... part of myself there, you know? I want that isolation. I want that chill.
If your house was burning down, what three objects would you try and save?
"Not to say that my pets are objects, but my cat and fish, clearly! I mean... they can't be replaced. Books and clothing can be."
If you HAD to give up one of your senses (hearing, seeing, feeling, smelling,
tasting) which would it be and why?
"Tasting, I guess...? The other's I just couldn't live without. Tasting is a want, I guess. Not really need.
Do you have a pet? If not, what sort of pet would you like?
"A kitty named Sirius... I thought it was ironic, and two Beta's in separate tanks, named Nea and Craig."
Who's your favourite cartoon character, and why?
"Oh... Sylvester, from Bugs Bunny? I mean, it's been a while since I watched cartoons!"
If I gave you $10,000, what would you spend it on?
"I'd donate some of it to a charity, and put the rest away for savings... No--I'm serious! If I had to buy something, likely a car that actually starts every morning?"
If you could do your dream job 10 years from now, what would it be?
"I really, really want to be a Marine Mammal Specialist. I want to change their world."
